Fitness in your life is important and is something that should not be taken with a grain of salt. While you may have an understanding that physical fitness is ‘good’ for you, you probably lack some of the finer points as to why you need to include physical fitness into your life. First, physical fitness is the use of your body with movements that go beyond your normal bodily functions. For example, physical fitness is anything that moves your body and pushes it to exert more energy than what your body normally does that keeps you alive, like eating, breathing, your heart pumping, etc. Physical fitness can be anything from walking up and down the stairs, swimming in your pool, walking along the river trail, weight lifting, running, or competitive sports. The list can go on endlessly.
You may have assumed physical fitness requires a higher level of activity, such as running or weight lifting and get deterred, but in reality, it’s really very simple. As simple as going on a walk for about 20 minutes to a half-hour several times a week, or if you work in a multi-storey building, you can take the stairs instead of the elevator; it really is that simple to bring in fitness in your life.
The importance of physical fitness is the benefits of the anaerobic exercise, which focuses on muscular strength and power and is a wonderful way to create lean muscle mass over a period of time along side a consistent workout schedule and combined with proper nutrition. Aerobic exercise targets your cardiovascular system by aiding your heart and lungs to carry more oxygen throughout your entire body allowing a more sufficient way to remove toxins at a faster rate. Removing toxins helps your entire body to function at its optimal best.
And finally, the importance positive factor of fitness is that you will feel better, stronger and happier. Simply exercise makes you body function better, which in turn makes you feel better, which in turn makes you happy.
