Louis “Lou” Jude Ferrigno is an American bodybuilder and actor. Ferrigno has appeared in such television series and movies as The Incredible Hulk , the bodybuilding documentary Pumping Iron, European-produced fantasy-adventures including Sinbad of the Seven Seas and Hercules, and most recently in the 2009 comedy I Love You, Man. He is best known for playing the Hulk, but more recently had a recurring role, as himself, in the sitcom The King of Queens.
Lou built his incredible chest muscles by using the basics: benches, inclines, declines and flyes.
He prefers barbells over dumbbells for presses, and he tries to avoid a full-lockout on each rep. This helps to keep the tension on the chest and not on the triceps.
Lou also like dumbbell pullovers in combination with cable crossovers. The dumbbell pullovers stretches out the chest and the cable crossovers focus on chest contractions. This results in getting two different exercises one right after the other. He pyramids the presses down to six reps. This builds more strength and less muscle.
